Posted: Mar 8, 2010

ACC recently launched the In-Transition Teleconference Meetings to respond to the current membership needs in this economic climate. Our last call, held November 16th, had over 65 individuals in attendance as they discussedthe trends of in-house counsel compensation, practice areas in demand, outlook for certain positions and skills sought, and the long-term implications of the recession.

The ACC In-Transition Conference calls are held every 3rd Monday at 3pm EST. The next conference call will be March 15th at 3pm EST. If you are a member, please refer to the Teleconference Schedule to view information to access the meeting.

Topic: Thoughts and Considerations for Opening Your Own Law Firm

Kristen Smith Dayley and Stephanie Daley-Watson were former in-house counsels who decided to open their own partnership, The Prism Law Group, PLLC.  They will be on the call to share with you their planning process, client development and other nuts & bolts issues of starting a law firm, e.g. malpractice insurance, forming a PLLC.

And their practice is completely virtual!

Due to the high volume of callers, all questions to the presenters should be sent to Susanna McDonald at mcdonald@acc.com.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask ACC Staff on legalresources@acc.com.
